Delivery Driver

Position: Delivery Driver

Salary: £17,410.00 per annum, plus competency bonus

We have an exciting opportunity for a Delivery Driver to join the existing team:

Duties and key responsibilities are:

  • Carry out planned deliveries as per provided schedule, efficiently and safely with due consideration to other road users and the general public
  • Ensure load is accurate and secure, and performing vehicle safety checks, reporting defects as required
  • Delivery of customer’s orders safely, efficiently and always in a considerate and polite fashion providing excellent customer service at all times
  • Adherence to transport legislation and working time regulations
  • Following company procedures for completion of paperwork and other duties
  • Maintain a clean and tidy vehicle
  • Assisting with warehouse duties as required

Key requirements:

  • DBS checks are required due to the vulnerable customer base; hospitals, care homes and direct to the homes of vulnerable and infirm clients
  • Good geographical knowledge of the UK
  • Flexibility to working hours, early starts may be required
  • Conscientious and ability to work on own initiative
  • Full UK driving license held for at least two years with no more than 3 penalty points
  • Previous multi drop delivery experience or similar

This is an ideal position for an individual who likes driving and enjoys working with the general public and can work efficiently with the team. This is a fast paced environment and it is equally important that you can react promptly and with confidence to ad hoc requests and organisational demands. This position is about delivering first class customer service to customers and clients of Rhenus Logistics.

HGV Class 2 Driver

Position: HGV Class 2 Driver

Flexible, full time, some weekend work will be required on a rotation basis

Salary - £24,186.00 plus performance bonus of up to £1,500 pa

We are looking to recruit an experienced Class 2 Driver with good knowledge of drivers’ hours and tachograph legislation to join our Transport Team based out of Corby.

The role is a multi-drop service with local deliveries and some distance day runs.

The perfect applicant will be a highly motivated, proactive individual who will be committed to meeting our customer requirement to deliver on time, every time.   Previous general haulage experience is essential and ideally you will have worked in similar roles for at least 2 years.  You will also need to be flexible in your approach to your working day.

Contract Administrator

Position: Contract Administrator

Monday to Friday 8:30 to 17:30 hours

The role:

Working in a fast paced environment you will be responsible for administration activities relating to the processing of orders for customers of Rhenus Logistics Corby Ltd.

Duties and key responsibilities are:

  • Processing customer orders from ordering to dispatch
  • Allocation of orders to specific business area
  • Adherence to standard operating procedures and company policies
  • Perform and administer daily checks on Warehouse Management and information Systems
  • Updating diaries and advising internal parties and customers as appropriate

Key skills & expereinces:

  • Previous administrative contract experience, ideally in a 3PL environment
  • Good working knowledge of Warehouse Management System
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent organsiational and time management skills
  • A keen eye for detail, highly analytical and demonstrates the ability to problem solve
  • Ability to work under pressure as an effective member of the team
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills
